Hey Hall of Fame Family,
Thanksgiving is right around the corner! Here at Hall of Fame Outdoor Co, we have a lot to be thankful for. First and foremost, all of our friends, family, and customers who have supported us. We wouldn't be here today without you! We have grown leaps and bounds in just a years time. Paul and I have had many successful (and unsuccessful) days selling our apparel at vendor fairs and farmers markets throughout the year. Our first was last winter, and we've gotten our setup better every time we attend! Over the summer, Hall of Fame Outdoor Company hosted our first Rough Riders Weekend, a guided camping trip packed full of fishing, hiking, and time spent at the shooting range. Paul and I have more in the works, too. We have learned about the small business market and what works for us, and we are just at the beginning of our journey!
I, too, have a lot to be thankful for in terms of my time on the water this year. My home lake, Canyon Lake, has produced much larger bass on average than it has in many years past. I upgraded my kayak to an Ascend 128x. This year, I explored new water in Alabama, Rhode Island, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Florida, and Missouri (and soon to be Texas). I finally got my grandpa's old 1962 Merc39 outboard motor running. I purchased a truck for ease of boat and kayak transportation. This year, I attended the Bassmaster Classic. I caught my first speckled trout, Spanish mackerel, lizardfish, and a few kinds of jack. I caught my first, and many fish on my BFS setup, and I attempted sturgeon and musky fishing for the first times this year.
For Paul and I, here at Hall of Fame Outdoor Company, there's so much to be thankful for. You, our customers, our family and friends, our sales, each of the fish we caught this year, our time spent on the water, and all the memories we've made along the way. This week's blog post is short and sweet, but we appreciate you still taking the time to read.
Tight Lines,
Erik Hoffman, Hall of Fame Outdoor Co
